What Does Love Entail?
Today is Valentine's Day. The euphoria it brings, throes of passion, echoes of "I love you", and other expressions of love such as exchange of gifts majorly bouquets, romance and concomitants of eroticism have already permeated the air. Personally, I believe love is the greatest gift that God graciously bestowed upon us. We are products of love, and we are expected to express love. Husbands, for instance, are specifically commanded to love their wives (Eph. 5:25), though some have argued that's the perogative of submissive wives (Eph. 5:22). Whichever way, have you wondered: 1. What exactly is love and what does it actually entail? 2. Why is erotic love superceding agape, pragma, philia, storge, platonic, and other forms of love? 3.
